Wuhan Corona Virus Safety Protocols

Boxcar Hill Campground is very honored that you have chosen us to safely exercise your rediscovered freedom!! As we resume operations after a 7-week closure, Boxcar Hill Campground requires that you and all members of your party observe the following safety protocols:

  1. Maintain social distancing of at least 6 feet between individuals that are not members of your immediate family. It is recommended to use protective cloth masks where possible.
  2. Wash hands with soap/hot water or use hand sanitizer after touching surfaces. Avoid touching your face.
  3. Bring your own cleaning supplies, disinfectants and table coverings as picnic tables are not sanitized.
  4. Restrooms will remain open and will be cleaned twice daily. Restrooms will be closed for cleaning and resupply at 9 AM -11am and 5:30 PM -7:30 PM.
  5. Any guest not abiding by these safety measures may be asked to leave immediately.

Visitor Questionnaire before/at arrival:

  1. Have you or anyone with you today had close contact with or cared for someone diagnosed with COVID-19 within the last 14 days?
  2. Have you experienced any cold or flu-like symptoms in the last 14 days (to include fever, cough, sore throat, respiratory illness, difficulty breathing)?

If the answer is “yes” to either question, access to Boxcar Hill Campground will be denied. Rescheduling reservations for a future date (subject to availability) will be offered at no charge.
